Question :why don’t u post pics of your face on your blog or twitpic???
My Answer: because I HAVE FACEBOOK & I’m concerned about plastering my face on the net.
My answer is a little bit more indepth. It’s also because of my career. I don’t want people at my job saying, “hey I saw a picture of you….”.
The only place I have pictures of my FACE up. Is on my Facebook and LiveJournal. And I’m not adding….stranger dangers. It’s not to say I’m paranoid but… I do get nervous about seeing my face over the NET. I’ve heard so many stories from people I know who have had their pictures ‘stolen’ and used for Fake Profiles..and so on. It’s terrible.
So that’s basically my answer. Short and Sweet.

Exactly. You can also lock up Facebook too, so you can just have your friends or family view your pictures. I’ll also never put up children’s pictures online or even on Facebook. Even if I had permission. I just think there are wackos every where online.
Yikes they’ve actually had their personal pictures stolen?
A little off topic. I put fan pictures out from a fan event recently. They asked permission for their fan site to just go directly to my site which was fine. Then I saw them randomly use them without permission on twitter. If they asked permission I might have said okay, but never again or I’ll put my pictures on a slideshow to show off, so people can’t take them.
It’s a scary online world out there.

Hey there.
Indeed I’ll never post up pictures of my students online anywhere! I don’t even disclose where I teach n’ things.
Indeed I’ve seen some pretty messed up things. Online bullying and fake identities using pictures.
-Yeah it’s really hard to control where your: pictures, art, design etc… go. I also like to trademark my pictures if…it has my face on it.
It’s quite debatable….but it’s always good to choose where we display pics.

That’s good idea to trademark or watermark the pictures. Unless I’m not working there anymore I don’t like to say where I work either. I just say usually a preschool.
