Who do you live your life for?
Posted by: soulistic in Candy, Change, tags: blogs, life, writingOne thing that has been invading my mind lately is why people write for other people on their blogs. It’s no longer an online journal for you. It’s a journal for a million other people that you write specifically to. No longer is it your release, your entity on a page, but a message for a million other people you’ve never met. Hopefully they’ll like this incessant garbage about “What a real blogger does” or “What does a guy really like in a girl” and maybe you’ll get a couple eprops and “like OMG get featured”. Firstly, eprops are absolutely abused and secondly, WTF ARE EPROPS, I mean really. They’re worthless. Why do people crave this sort of recognition? I think I can safely assume almost every single person that joined this site did it for themselves, not for other people.
So, I guess what I’m asking is, do we gradually live our lives, partake in our actions, and guide our souls, for other people? Because, it’s not just on blogs we do this with, it’s our entire lives… To what extent do we finally reclaim our lives?

And of course there are always those who disagree.
