Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009)
Michael Jackson had a huge impact on our lives here, and we’ve played his music in good times and bad. We’ve been in awe of him doing the Moonwalk; if your old enough you watched him grow up before your eyes. Though his career faltered in his later years, his contributions will not be forgotten and are appreciated. And I don’t care if you do or you don’t appreciate him, this next couple of days and weeks he’s going to sent off to the next plane with lots of media coverage, and shown much respect because he is the King of Pop Music.
When I found out I was in a Faith bookstore with my girl Shelli. And she received a phone call from her Dad telling her what had happened. She told me and I couldn’t believe it. Thinking it was a joke. He called back and confirmed it. I then had multiple people telling me as well. I needed to be in front of a TV or GOOGLE. This was around 7ish and when I got home….I was so sadden.
This month has been hard. The passing of my Grandma (RIP NANA) -

along with RIP Ed McMahon, David Carradine, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and now Billy Mays.
