I bought my first iphone app this week. Yup the first one ever bought! I bought Qik Video!!!!! I think FREE APPS are worth it. I thinking buying apps are stupid because the Free ones are just as good….as long as they can do the job. Also I don`t buy apps because I`m the type of person that gets tired of apps and i stop using them. (Personal opinion)

However finally: http://qik.com/videocamera/ The 3G can now record video! I thought to myself wait a second this is amazing. Finally a video camera for the 3G iPhone how can I not buy it!!!??? This is something Apple should of incorporated in the first place, but I guess it was to profit their NEWER and faster phone the 3Gs. *ROLLS EYES*

SO I took some sample videos. and they turned out great!

Most of these APPs are free I think…..Well I got them when they were free. Check them out. I think these APPs are necessary for any iPhone user.

10. Stanza - Free eBooks -hey why not. I have a few which keeps me company while waiting for people. (i have about 21 books: example: Grimm’s Fairy Tales, The Count of MOnte Cristo – Alexandre Dumas, Pere etc…)

9. Anything by Optime Software (Chess, Checkers, Four, Dots, Crack that code etc…) – Great APP games that are FREE.

8. Boxed In – This game is so addictive! There are even YouTube videos out there for those people stuck on levels. I gotta admit levels 46-48 were really hard!

7. AppBox - Great APP – comes with 10 APPS such as Days Until, Holiday, Tip Calc, Unit, Currency etc.… great lil’ app with lots to offer.

6. Facebook - the new update is great. to easily check Facebook! Really easy mini version of facebook.

5. Holy Bible - MUST HAVE – I am a devoted Christian it’s always great to read the Word of the Lord in your phone. I pretty much carry around my phone 24/7,  so I have access to a Bible wherever I go!

4. Shazam - This tool is great. I seen other programs claiming to work (not on the iPhone) and they suck. This APP knows every song I play. I’ve even let it search the most random songs that no one has heard before and it knows the artist! Very awesome, when you’re driving around or waking up in the morning and you hear a song that catches your attention.

3. IM + -heres another site - Cute lil’ app that provides MSN, AIM, YAhoo and TWITTER and other chat programs. Latest update has some cool features that you can modify the ‘look’ of the app. Such as changing the background etc. It also has push notifications which means I can leave it on…and do whatever I want and if someone messages me my iPhone will alert me.

2. TwitBird Pro – Probably the best Twitter App. I said goodbye to TwitterFon because it went downhill. Ads and wasn’t user friendly with no landscape. I replaced it with Tweetie whichen then became TwitBird and Now I have the latest update. Which is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo illmatic. It has landscape features, trends, etc…just amazing and simple and classy to use! This is a MUST Twitter App if you like to tweet like me.

1. What’s On TV? - the best app ever! I have a digital provider for television here in Canada called LookTV and this app provides the TV GUIDE for this provider which is amazing! Since it’s a private distrubutor. It also allows you to save your favourite shows and lets you know when they’re on, with the episode information and when it comes on etc. There are push alerts that you can put on. It also has whats playing at the movies and of course its own TV GUIDE. This app is brilliant! Check out the site above for more information. I can’t lie I”m a TV JUNKIE when I don’t have anything to do. So this app works. Especially if I just want a lazy day hanging around the TV.
